Sears Appliance Repair

I bought multiple appliances from Sears; dishwasher, oven, and refrigerator. After about one year the ice maker stopped working so I called for a repair. I set up and appointment and was to be home from 1:00 Pm to 5PM. I took time off work and the company that Sears contracts to DSA Appliance Repair never showed up or even called! Frustrating! I called back the next day and DSA Appliance had no reasonable explanation. Made another appointment, this time between 9AM and noon, The showed up an hour late for this appointment and informed me the ice maker was indeed broken and needed to be replaced. Of course the service guy Dario didnt have it and had to order it. Dario told me the office would call me when the new unit came in. two weeks later I called them and they said it had come in a week ago! Ughh! Made another appointment and this time Dario was an hour and a half late! Dario told me when he finally got there that his cell phone wasn't working, but 30 seconds later it rang! LIAR! During the 1.5 hour i was waiting I was on the phone with Sears who also tried to contact his office and his mobile. No answer anywhere!! No apologies or any kind of compensation was offered from DSA or Sears! I looked up reviews on DSA Appliance Repair and they are all terrible! I cannot believe that SEARS continues to use these horrible people! No wonder Sears is in financial trouble. I will definitely buy elsewhere the next time! STAY AWAY!

We had a gentleman repair a relatively new GE dishwasher. We had previously used GE when it was under warranty but subsequently moved it over to sears. GE service was awful and their product quality has been the worst. However the person from Sears has been fantastic. The quality of service we received, the repairs and proactive observations of other issues was brilliant. We have been Sears service customers now for over 10 years and I still impressed with their quality of service.
